In thinking about the Technology Integration Matrix, what are some ways that the use of scanners or the document camera (capture pictures feature) can be integrated by teachers and students in the classroom curriculum?

As regular classroom teachers, we used scanners to archive student work for electronic portfolios. As tech instructors, they are used to scan student artwork for their Authors and Artists Night books. They are also used to scan artwork and photos to personalize multimedia projects. Finally, they are also used in the creation of the yearbook.
I was able to figure out a way to connect the document camera (the old Apollo versions) to the VCR and to use it as a video camera. Although it doesn't allow for the recording of sound, it is an inexpensive way to record video.
